Here’s a quick plugin overview of the Product Recommendations for WooCommerce.
Product Recommendations for WooCommerce Plugin Overview #
After you have installed and activated the plugin and the License, hover on WooCommerce and click on the Product Recommendations for WooCommerce.
All Engines #
After clicking, it will take you to the page where all your created engines will be listed.
Engine Type #
Clicking on the Create New button will take you to the Create Engine page where you can start configuring a new engine.
In the Engine type dropdown, you’ll get 6 types of filters to select:
- Frequently Bought Together
- Out of Stock Product Alternatives
- Top Rated Products
- Best Selling Products
- New Arrivals
- On-sale Popular Products
- Frequently Bought Together:
- Recommends products frequently purchased together based on user shopping patterns and historical data from WooCommerce order data.
- Out of Stock Product Alternatives:
- Suggests alternative products from the same category when a selected item is out of stock, ensuring you always have options to consider.
- Top Rated Products:
- Displays products with the highest ratings, helping you make informed decisions by considering the community’s preferences.
- Best Selling Products:
- Recommend the most-selling products from your WooCommerce store.
- New Arrivals:
- Showcases recently added products to the store’s inventory.
- On-sale Popular Products:
- Presents a selection of popular products currently on sale.
Engine Visibility Location #
In the Engine Visibility Location dropdown, you’ll get 6 types of locations to select:
Single Product Page:
- After Single Product Summary
- After Add-to-Cart Button
Product Archive Page:
- Before Products
- After Products
- No Products Found
- After Single Product Summary (Single Product Page):
- Recommended products will appear below the detailed summary of a product on its dedicated page.
- After Add-to-Cart Button (Single Product Page):
- Recommended products will be visible below the “Add to Cart” button on a product’s individual page.
- Before Products (Product Archive Page):
- Recommended products will be showcased above the list of products on a product archive page.
- After Products (Product Archive Page):
- Recommended products will be displayed below the list of products on a product archive page.
- No Products Found (Product Archive Page):
- Recommended products will be shown in case no products match the specified criteria on a product archive page.
Advanced Product Filter Options #
1. Click on the Advanced Product Filter Options and it will help you to customize the Engine type even more.
2. After clicking this option a new section will appear below.
3. Here you set more conditions that will help you filter further to your Selected Engine Type.
Settings #
Now if you click on the Settings tab you’ll see the options to customize how you want to showcase your preferred product recommendation.
Here you can select the rows and columns as per your choice or you can write your code by defining the custom class name here.
** Make sure to set the Engine Status as Enabled to display it on your selected location.
