When you’re creating a virtual tour of your place, you may require to set a default zoom or custom zoom limits on each scene.
WPVR allows you to easily set custom zoom settings on each individual scene of your virtual tour.
With WPVR Pro, you can:
- Set a different default zoom on every scene.
- Set a different zoom-in limit on each scene.
- Set a different zoom-out limit on each scene.
Today, you’ll learn how you can fully customize the zoom settings on your virtual tour.
Let’s get started.
Set Custom Zoom Settings On Your Virtual Tour #
1. Go to the edit mode of an already existing tour.
You can also create a new tour and go to its edit mode.
This will take you to the Scenes page.
You may have a single scene or multiple scenes on the tour.
3. Choose the scene where you want to set custom zoom settings.
4. Scroll down on this page to find the Customize Scene Zoom option.
Turn this option On.
Three new options will appear:
- Default Zoom.
- Max Zoom.
- Min Zoom.
i. Set Default Zoom On Your Scene #
To set a default zoom on your scene, you have to use the Default Zoom option.
When a viewer is loading your tour, it will load with the default zoom value that you’ve set up.
You can set this value from 50 to 120.
50 is the most zoomed in view and 120 is the most zoomed out view.
Suppose, you want to load the tour with maximum zoomed out view, then you have to set it as 120.
**You can set a different default zoom on each scene of a virtual tour.
ii. Set Zoom Out Limit On Your Scene #
To set a zoom out limit on your scene, you have to use the Max Zoom option.
When viewers are navigating a scene, they can zoom out to the limit you’ve set up.
You can also set this value from 50 to 120.
Suppose, you’ve set the Default Zoom to 100, then you have to set the Max Zoom from 100 to 120.
**Do not set the Max Zoom value lower than the Default Zoom value.
**You can set different Max Zoom on each scene of a virtual tour.
iii. Set Zoom In Limit On Your Scene #
To set a zoom in limit on your scene, you have to use the Min Zoom option.
When viewers are navigating a scene, they can zoom in to the limit you’ve set up.
You can also set this value from 50 to 120.
Suppose, you’ve set the Default Zoom to 100, then you have to set the Min Zoom from 50 to 100.
**Do not set the Min Zoom value greater than the Default Zoom value.
**You can set different Min Zoom on each scene of a virtual tour.
That’s it. This is how you can set custom zoom settings on your virtual tour.
