The Exclusion List feature lets you choose specific products or categories that should not follow the global Catalog Mode settings. This is useful when you want certain items to remain fully purchasable or to apply custom visibility rules only for selected products.
Follow this guide to configure and manage your Exclusion List.
1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Catalog Mode > Setting > Exclusion List > Click on “+ Add Exclusion” Button

2. Once you click on the “+ Add Exclusion” button, there will be a popup and you find the option for setting the items in the exclusion

1. Item type:
The Exclusion List feature lets you choose specific Products or Categories that should not follow the global Catalog Mode settings. This is useful when you want certain items to remain fully purchasable or to apply custom visibility rules only for selected products.
When you choose Products, you can pick specific items to add to the list. When you choose Categories, you can select one or more categories whose products will be excluded.
2. Inquiry Form
Enable this if you want the inquiry form to appear on the product pages of the items you added to the exclusion list. This allows customers to contact you about these items even if purchasing is restricted elsewhere.
3. Use custom options for ‘Add to Cart’
This option lets you apply different “Add to Cart” rules to excluded items instead of using the global Catalog Mode settings.
When enabled, you can choose to hide or show the “Add to Cart” button for the excluded items. You can also decide what replaces the button on product pages or shop pages. You may leave the area blank or use a custom button you’ve created.
4. Use custom options for price
If enabled, products in the exclusion list can follow their own price visibility rules. You can choose to hide or show the price for these items. If the price is hidden, you can decide what appears in its place. You may leave it empty or replace it with one of your custom buttons or labels.
When you have configured all the exclusion settings, click the “Add Exclusion to List” button
Once you add an item to the exclusion list, the catalog mode rules you set for that item will override the global settings. The custom settings for the excluded products or categories will take priority. That’s how easy it is.
