Here’s a quick plugin overview of the Dynamic Discounts for WooCommerce.

After you have installed and activated the plugin and the License, hover on WooCommerce and click on the Dynamic Discounts. Clicking on the + Create New it will take you to the Create Discount page.

Discount Type #

In the Discount type dropdown, you’ll get 6 types of options to select:

  • Product Base Discount
  • Cart Base Discount
  • Bulk Product Discount
  • Stock Base Discount
  • Bundle (Set) Discount
  • Buy X Get X
Discount Type
  • Product Base Discount:
    • Provides discounts based on individual product prices, offering flexibility for targeted promotions.
  • Cart Base Discount:
    • Calculates discounts on the overall cart subtotal, factoring in taxes. The discount is applied as a fee, ensuring accurate total calculations.
  • Bulk Product Discount:
    • Offers discounts on products when purchased in bulk quantities, encouraging larger orders.
  • Stock Base Discount:
    • Applies discounts based on product stock levels, providing incentives for products with higher inventory.
  • Bundle (Set) Discount:
    • Enables discounts on sets or bundles of products, encouraging customers to purchase complementary items.
  • Buy X Get X:
    • Implements a “Buy X Get X” strategy, allowing for promotions like buy one, get one free.

** By clicking `Apply this discount and ignore all other discounts` Only this discount will be applied, while others will be skipped.

** By clicking `Would you like to specify a timeframe` will provide the options for Start and End sale date. Clicking the `Does this discount apply regularly each year` option will set a recurring sale date for every year.

Condition (Optional) #

You can set additional conditions to your previously configured discount rules.

By clicking Add New from the Condition (Optional), a new section will be added below.

In the Condition Type dropdown, you’ll get 5 types of options to select:

Cart:

  • Subtotal
  • Line Item Count
  • Item Quantity
  • Payment Method
  • Total Weight

Customer:

  • Is Logged In
  • User Role
  • E-Mail
  • User

Shipping:

  • Land
  • Zip code
  • City
  • State

Purchase History:

  • First Order
  • Total Spent
  • Last Order
  • Last Order Amount
  • Number Of Orders Made

Billing:

  • City

Let’s explain these options with a couple of examples.

Example 1: If you want the discount will be applied to the products only if the cart subtotal is Greater than or equal to 1000.

From the screenshot above it is visible that there are 2 conditions applied. So now the discount will be applied to the products only if the cart subtotal is Greater than or equal to 1000 and the customer is logged in.

Example 2: If you want to give a discount to specific users, you can also set conditions for that.

From the screenshot above it is visible that there are 2 conditions applied. So now the discount will be applied to this specific user if the item quantity is greater than 3.
