To connect Pinterest with Social Booster, first, you need to make sure your website is SSL certified, i.e., your domain starts with ‘https.’
Then you need to follow the steps below:
Go to your Pinterest Developers Page and click on the apps bar.
If you have an existing app that you want to use, then you can skip to Step-3, and click on the app you want to use.
Else, click on the Create App button.
For creating your first app, you will get a form. Fill it out with details and provide the required information.
You will need to provide the following information:
Give a name to the app.
Give a short description of your app and mention what it does.
Now, click on the Create App button.
After you have successfully filled out the information, your app is created.
And this page will appear.
Here, you will get your App ID and App Secret.
Click on the Show button to get your App Secret.
Now, go to Social Booster’s page and click on Networks.
Under Connect A Network option, click on Pinterest and tap Profile button.
Now, this page will appear.
Copy the Client ID from the Pinterest app details page and paste in this field.
Copy the Client Secret from the Pinterest app details page and paste it here.
Go to your Pinterest account and select the board you want to pin.
Copy the board name from URL and paste in this field.
Now scroll down on the Networks page.
Copy the website URL and the callback URL from here.
Go to the Pinterest app details page and scroll down to Platforms section.
Paste the website URL on the Site URL field and callback URL on the Redirect URLs field.
Press enter to save the Redirect URL.
Go back to the Networks page on Social Booster.
Click on the Save button.
This form will appear on your screen.
Click on the Okay button.
Go to the Networks tab on your Social Booster Dashboard and scroll down to see the connected networks.
You can see that the Pinterest account is connected.
If you want to enable or disable it, use the button below Status. And if you wish to remove it, you can use the bin icon below the Status.
Now you can go ahead and start using Social Booster to share your posts and pages to your Pinterest account that you added.
