Once you’ve installed and activated the Variation Swatches for WooCommerce plugin on your website, go to Dashboard > Swatches and you’ll see the dashboard of the plugin.

Here you’ll find two tabs:
- Allgemein
- Steuert
Let’s have a look at these two sections.
General Settings #
This section contains the general settings options for your swatches. You can set or customize your swatches globally from here.

You’ll find the following options:
- Swatches Global Style.
- Swatches Hover Style.
- Swatches Selected Style.
Let’s have a look on each of these options.
i. Swatches Global Style #
You can use these options to define the default style of your swatches when you decide to enable displaying swatches instead of dropdown selection for variations of products.
So basically it’s what a prospect will see when he visits a variable product.
ii. Swatches Hover Style #
These options will let you define a change in the style of the swatches when the mouse hovers on one.
For example, hovering the mouse on the swatch may change it’s color from Blue to Green.
iii. Swatches Selected Style #
You can set the change in style for the swatches when prospects select them. For example, selecting a swatch (i.e. clicking on one) may change it’s color from Blue to White.
Controls Section #
In this section, you can find the major control options for this plugin.

Here you will get the following options in the free version:
